Here we go again!
More thrifted textiles, more fun hippie outfits.
My favourite thing about this is the fact that it is one of a kind. I do not claim to be a fashion guru, but I love style for less.
One of my leased favourite things is wearing ‘the uniform’. I like to look different, I like to be original. I want to wear something unique and not what everyone else is wearing, while still feeling comfortable of course.
Another thing is that I love crafting, making and creating.
Third, but not the leased and important thing is saving. Saving money and not creating unnecessary waste. Fashion is art and it is beautiful but mass produced industries create way too much waste and pollution, and while one side of the world has nothing to wear, another throws bunch of textiles out in a landfill. Life is not always fair… that is the leased to say.
I am not claiming to know how to fix entire world’s problems, but at least I will try to use my immediate environment wisely and hopefully inspire You too.
In this video I am sharing how I created a beautiful jacket from a gorgeous thrifted weaved woolen blanket. A short sleeve top from a vintage rug and a stunning white top from a beautiful textile I found at the thrift.
Entire step by step process is documented and comentated. At the end of the video I am sharing how I styled it, so do stay till the end to see the best part. I am very excited and passionate about upcycled textiles and I hope You can appreciate it.
Love and Peace to everyone!
