Introduction
Hi, my name is Vita, I am a crafty hippie homemaker and a small business owner.
I have been a vendor in one of the stores in Toronto called BAZAAR located at 306 College Street for 1.5 years now.
Plans
It is time to start planning to expand as I feel ready to take on a nudge more. After gaining experience at BAZAAR started to shape my small business into something a lot more sustainable.
The Start
It has been 3 years since I created Hippie Crow Hub without knowing how far it can go. Even though it all just started with opening a new IG account called hippiecrowhub_crafts and intent to post my creations. After collecting a small batch of stock, I got to attend few mini private events as a vendor.
Next Steps
At that point I got the confidence to keep going. Then came my website, YouTube channel, and Hippie Crow Hub became a registered Artisan business. So much effort, time, though, work and commitment was put into it and still…. it is just a beginning. I joked that my business was a fetus or just a small infant, now I can say I have passed the pregnancy stage and a small business is born fully. It is just still very small.
Time To Grow
As a mother of two I know that patience is so important to witness growth. I am at last at this point where I can proudly say Hippie Crow Hub is expanding. My YouTube channel is now monetized, and I have just added TWO new locations.
One is a new store than was opened by a fellow vendor whom I met at Bazaar. The shop is called BELLA PICKED IT located at 1317 Dundas St West, Toronto. Another shop is well established and known to be very popular located right at Kensington Market called BOHO CHACHKIES 78 Nassau St, Toronto.
I am so excited and happy to be doing this!
