Hey,

my name is Vita and I am the hippie crafty homemaker! I absolutely love playing around with fabrics, especially DENIM.

Denim is a very durable and long lasting material that only gains edginess and caracter with time.

Scrappy denim looks great in patchwork combos and Japanese Boro style garments.

Original denim was made out of wool and silk, now days it is made out of cotton which means it is a natural fiber that is breathable. (Unless, of course… it is a denim imitation that is made out of synthetics.)

Another reason why I love old denim is how soft and flexible it becomes. Perfect for lighter outfits.

I have prepared a pile of fabrics, I did a lot of cutting, unfortunately only got to sew 2 of these items, because my last sewing machine needle broke half way through the planned video…

I did get myself more needles but at this point it is too late to add it into this video, that is why I split this pile of entertainment into two videos.
